TTC/Infertility
Trying to conceive can be an extremely stressful time and with that stress often come physical changes such as breakouts, sensitive skin, joint and muscle pain and more. The emotional aspect of this type of stress is unique and the best support system consists of others who have previously experienced or are currently experiencing the same unique stress.

Infertility in particular takes this unique stress to a whole new level, both physically and emotionally. For women going through fertility treatments, the hormonal changes alone can wreak havoc on the skin, mindset, and physical pain and discomfort. With training in fertility massage, hormonal skin care, and infertility coaching, Cara brings her unique approach to holistic infertility care.

Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a unique time in a woman's life as her body is changing more dramatically than it ever has. The process of growing another human (or humans) inside your body is complex and oftentimes overwhelming. Significant hormonal changes can cause unexpected acne and/or skin darkening, texture changes and more. Most commonly during pregnancy, joint and muscle pain are at an all time high, and it can be difficult to relieve the pain and/or discomfort.

With extensive training in pre & postnatal bodywork, skincare, & coaching, Rooted in Bloom is here to support pregnant women in all 3 trimesters of pregnancy.

Postpartum+
Typically, the postpartum period is considered birth to 6-8 weeks after birth. At Rooted In Bloom, we consider the postpartum period to be birth to at least 1 year postpartum. We've added the plus sign (+) to include parenting of children up to 8 years old. While 8 years is certainly long past the postpartum period, it can still be an adjustment period.

As a mom of preemie twins who struggled throughout the postpartum period and beyond with everything from NICU life, recovery from an unplanned emergency c-section, low milk supply, pumping issues, postpartum anxiety, and all the stressors that come along with parenting young children, plus bodywork, skin care, and coach training, Cara is here to support you through it all.

Perimenopause
Perimenopause is the period of time prior to menopause when women's bodies change, in preparation for menopause. Perimenopause can last for up to 10 years, though it typically lasts 3-4 years. This complex period of time when estrogen and progesterone levels begin to decline. This decline in reproductive hormones causes major changes including irregular periods, hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, memory issues, and much more. Generally speaking, perimenopause begins in the mid-late 40s, though it can begin earlier or later.

Rooted in Bloom's founder, Cara B. is a fellow perimenopausal women just trying to navigate life each day with all the fun of hot flashes, memory problems, night sweats, mood changes, etc. And with her extensive background in all things reproductive bodywork, skincare, and coaching... Cara has got you covered.
